How to wthhold the fire retardant during XPS recycling-A breakthrough recycling way



Last week we launched a new XPS chips and flakes recycle machine successfully at customer’s site in Beijing. This is a complete new recycle concept for the margins from your XPS production series.

Due to the pressure from conservation, CO2 foam XPS creation collection is gaining surface. Nevertheless CO2 foam requires co-blowing agent such as ethanol or DME etc. which are flammable. How to recycle the XPS margins without loss of flame retardant is a big problem besetting every XPS table manufacturers.

Our initiative solves this plastic recycling machine problem intelligently. The chips and flakes from your margin from the XPS creation line or from the unqualified XPS planks is going to be conveyed to some feeding silo by surroundings.

These chips and flakes is going to be pushed into kneading extrusion system that may crush and compact it into semi-molten condition. Then your semi-molten lumps will be extruded into a thick sheet which will enter into a pelletizer to make it into small granules such as the picture.
